1. International Business Practice 1 (General elective for both Master's and Ph.D. course)

participating in a domestic internship while enrolled as a student is possible

2 weeks or more of contact required

relevant bodies: domestic bodies in relation to international business practice (ex. companies, research institutes, government agencies or the like, international organizations, etc.)

must present a Participation Document and an Appraisal Document for the internship

the internship may be done anytime from the first semester through to the fourth semester, however credit for the internship can only be granted in the SPRING semester. (i.e. if the internship is conducted in the FALL semester, the student can present their internship documents at the time of registration for the SPRING semester and be given credit for it at that time).



2. International Business Practice 2 (General elective for both Master's and Ph. D. course)

participating in an international internship while enrolled as a student is possible

4 weeks or more of contact required

relevant bodies and recognition schema:

Multinational corporations
Agencies, enterprises, or research institutes in relation to major of study
Overseas agencies of Korean Government
Overseas branch offices of domestic enterprises
"A" level organization : recognizing credit, air fare subsidy and expenses for stay for two weeks (pending vailable funds)
"B" level organization: recognizing credit, air fare subsidy (pending available funds)
"C" level organization: recognizing credit


Level schema for organizations: the organization and level of organization is decided by the internship screening committee Procedures:

Period of application: OPEN (however a student is requested to apply at least one month before departure from Korea)

Documents required: Application for Assistance, Internship Plan and Approval Document for the organization concerned

Students must present the Confirmation Document and the Internship Report for the organization concerned

The internship may be done anytime from the first semester through to the fourth semester, however credit for the internship can only be granted in the FALL semester. (i.e. if the internship is conducted in the SPRING semester, the student can present their internship documents at the time of registration for the FALL semester and be given credit for it at that time).



3. Conducting Business in Korea (Major requirement for Master's course)

Students must attend more than 12 times of Conducting Business Lectures during 4 semesters for taking credit.

Students must participate in 8 lectures which The Department of Korean Studies offers 8 lectures out of them and more than 4 lectures of the Asia Pacific Forum which the Asia Pacific Research Center offers.



4. Field study (Major elective for Ph. D. course, 6 credits)

Research activities in relation to the dissertation major (for a period of more than 4 months)

Present a summary paper on the field research conducted

The internship may be done anytime from the first semester through to the fourth semester, however credit for the internship can only be granted in the FALL semester. (i.e. if the internship is conducted in the SPRING semester, the student can present their internship documents at the time of registration for the FALL semester and be given credit for it at that time).
